In a statement, Tip Top said the factory had “paused operations” following the incident and there will be no bread deliveries today.

Weekend delivery will also be affected, the company said

“We have limited capacity and therefore will not be able to assist with any order adjustments for Saturday deliveries,” it said.

“If there are further changes to your delivery schedule, further communication will be provided.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support during this time.”

The police do not believe that the death occurred under suspicious circumstances.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
