TRAFFIC ALARM: School bus and truck crashed on Sango Road, no children injured

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A pickup truck and a school bus with children on board collided Friday morning on Sango Road.

Around 11:20 a.m., the vehicles crashed near 360 Sango Road, according to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Mark Wojnarek.

“Children were on the bus and were checked by Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service and reported as not injured,” Wojnarek said. “CMCSS is aware and working to communicate where necessary to affected families.”

The road is partially closed and motorists are asked to avoid the area if they can.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating and the cause has not yet been determined.
