Someone on the NSW Mid North Coast is $50 million richer today but has no idea.

The mystery contestant was the only Division 1 winner in Thursday night’s Powerball drawing, taking home the entire jackpot for herself.

Officials from The Lott were unable to get in touch with the country’s newest multi-millionaire, who was registered on a player’s card, and instead left a series of unanswered calls.

“I was ready to confirm Powerball’s newest Division 1 winner right after the result of tonight’s drawing was known, but unfortunately when I called the number provided, it just rang,” said Matt Hart, spokesman for The Lott.

“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you may be the winner we are trying to contact.

“You might not think it’s possible you’re the Division 1 winner we’re looking for, but if you have an entry from a NSW Lotteries store on the Mid North Coast for this week’s Powerball draw that you haven’t checked yet, have a chance!”

Thursday night’s winning numbers were 14, 6, 9, 25, 27, 31 and 33, with the Powerball number being 15.

The recipient of the missed call wasn’t the only winner of the night, with 26 division two winners each taking home just over $31,000 each.

A total of $29.29 million was won between 1,583,199 winners across divisions two through nine.
