Anyone who needs a place to live and loves a good oggy can soon realize their dream job. Dashers Pasties has been supplying handmade cakes and other dishes in South East Cornwall for 25 years.

Now doughy shop located on Torpoint main street is put up for sale after the current owners decided it was time to retire. Business-to-sales specialists Daltons Business, which advertises the sale, said the pasty store offered a ‘unique opportunity to secure a future in Cornwall‘. The store comes with a fully equipped production bakery with shop premises, parking and a two-bedroom apartment above, all for £ 249,500 as free value.

A spokesman for Daltons Business said: “Dashers Pasties is based in the thriving main shopping street Torpoint on the Rame Peninsula and is only a short drive to the pretty villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. The Torpoint ferry departs close by Plymouth a short walk across the Tamar River, and the protected status of the Cornish Pasty means that Dashers is one of the closest pasty producers to the city. ”

In his sales speech, he added: “The shiny shop space in front of the premises allows hungry customers to see the bakery in action while choosing their cakes, allowing them to feel confident that they are buying a freshly made craft product. “On the premises is bakery parking and a separate entrance to a spacious two-bedroom apartment, which is included in the sale. Dashers Pasties is a unique opportunity to secure a future in Cornwall.”

The business comes with a two-bedroom apartment and parking space at the back and “real opportunities to introduce mouth-watering craft products that would allow a new owner to immediately boost the company’s profitability”. Dalton’s Business spokesman added: “The spectacular beaches within easy reach offer the opportunity to combine a money-making, established eatery with an enviable Cornish lifestyle.”
