BC Premier John Horgan is set to speak to the media on Tuesday afternoon, a few days after leading to speculation about his political future during an interview last week.
Horgan will speak to reporters at 13:30 PT. CBC News will livestream the news conference.
On Friday, the prime minister alluded to an upcoming announcement after being asked directly whether he plans to stay in office for the rest of his term.
“We have a cabinet retreat next week in Vancouver,” Horgan said in an interview with CBCs On the island.
“We are planning and planning and preparing for the next two years. So I want to have more to say about that when we get out of those meetings.”
The retreat began Monday and ran until Tuesday.
