7 adults, 3 children die in Luzerne County house fire

Seven adults and three children have been confirmed dead after a fire in northeastern Pennsylvania, according to state police. The fire started around 2:30 a.m. Friday at a home in Nescopeck, Luzerne County, south of Wilkes-Barre.” I heard this pop. It sounded like a gunshot. I looked out my one window there and I see the house across of the corner there, the porch was totally engulfed. I mean, it was just roaring,” said Mike Swank, who witnessed the fire. Authorities said a criminal investigation is underway. The children who died were ages 5, 6 and 7. Some people were able to get out of the burning home, authorities said.

Some people were able to get out of the burning home, authorities said.
