Perth Bricklayer Nicola La Falce was 37 when he disappeared without a trace in a suspected murder mystery.

Almost 30 years later, his family is still waiting for answers.

His father Antonio La Falce said the family has had no information about Nicola’s disappearance

The bricklayer disappeared after visiting a pizza shop at Wembley in 1994 – a mystery that grabbed headlines at the time.

The 37-year-old left the store at around 9pm and has not been seen since.

In a puzzling twist, 24 hours after the disappearance, another plane ticket Adelaide was reserved in his name.

The bricklayer’s car had been dumped at Perth Airport, but he never boarded the plane.

WA Police Assistant Commissioner Tony Longhorn said investigators had previously had several cases where “criminals go to great lengths to conceal a murder”.

“That includes vehicles that are left at the airport to give the illusion that the person has left the state,” Longhorn said.

There has been no major breakthrough in the case, but the detectives have no doubt that he is dead.

“He’s not a missing person — he was a victim of murder,” Longhorn said.

After decades of searching for answers, the state police force is turning to the public for help, offering $500,000 for information leading to a conviction.

“People keep secrets. We hope this amount is enough to help someone reconsider keeping secrets.

Police have asked the public to contact them if they can provide information

“We are extremely grateful for your help,” said La Falce.
